Meals on Wheels
The Meals on Wheels program is currently accepting new clients. For more information and to determine your eligibility, please call 914-381-7840 and ask for Alicia.
The Meals on Wheels program provides a nutritious midday meal to senior citizens living in the Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Mamaroneck, and Village of Larchmont who are home-bound and unable to prepare meals for themselves.
Any resident age 60 or older who is home-bound, ill, disabled, and/or convalescing, and is unable to prepare meals, may be eligible.
Preliminary information can be taken over the phone, however, an initial home visit is required to confirm eligibility in order to begin receiving meals. A follow up home visit is conducted every six months thereafter to determine ongoing eligibility.
Once we have all of the necessary information, we will contact you with the details of your meal delivery. Most residents receive their first meal within one to two days.
Menus are created by the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services. Click here for the current menu. Meals are prepared by Lunch with Lou, a local caterer. Hot meals generally include:

The Meals on Wheels program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is offered through a grant from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services.
