Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town’s scheduled 2020 revaluation will be postponed until the 2021 assessment roll. The Town had previously entered into a cyclical plan with the New York State Office of Real Property Tax Services culminating with a Town-Wide reappraisal reassessment in 2020.  The Town will not implement the revaluation plan for this year, however properties may see assessment adjustments based on such things as physical inventory changes, construction and demolitions.

All property owners will receive an Assessment Notice on or about June 1st June 30, 2020, regardless of whether there is an actual change in the assessment.  Since the completion of the revaluation in 2013, our goal remains to establish equity among taxpayers by maintaining an up to date assessment roll that reflects market values.
