Racial Equity Task Force

Overview

The Racial Equity Task Force was formed in 2020. The mission is to foster greater equity for all people in the Town of Mamaroneck. To evaluate Town practices and services and engage the community in discussions to raise awareness of inequities that exist in the Town based on race, gender, religion or sexual orientation and endeavor to correct them.

The Task Force, in conjunction with the Town staff, is also currently functioning as the ad hoc NYS Police Reform and Reinvention Committee. Information regarding the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department can be found on the NYS Police Reform and Reinvention page.
