Alternative Veterans' Exemption

Filing deadline: May 1 

If you are an American veteran who served during a qualified period of war, you (or other qualified owner such as un-remarried surviving spouse or Gold Star Parent), may be entitled to this exemption. Additional benefits are available for veterans with service connected disabilities, or those in a combat zone. Proof of honorable discharge (Form DD-214) must accompany application.

Cold War Veterans' Exemption

Filing deadline: May 1 

This exemption is available to veterans who served on active duty (exclusive of training) in the United States armed forces between September 2, 1945 and December 26, 1991, and who are not currently receiving or do not qualify for either the eligible funds or the alternative veterans' exemption.
