[ARCHIVED] Message from the Town Supervisor April 9, 2020

Coronavirus Update April 9, 2020

Please read the Supervisor’s Coronavirus update for today:

Good evening fellow residents, this is Nancy Seligson Mamaroneck Town Supervisor with an update for April 9th.

In keeping with the Governor’s executive orders, the revised schedule for Town Center business will extend to April 29th with the Town Center closed Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please make every effort to conduct Town business online through the website or make an appointment to access the Town Center for  Mondays, Wednesdays or  Fridays.

There are extensive resources available to aid small businesses and residents during this crisis. The State and County websites provide information for testing, mental health services, financial aid, volunteer opportunities, and more. The Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center is helping residents and the Town website has updated information on the Coronavirus tab.

We had two special visitors to the Town and the Village of Larchmont this week, the Bunny and the Hommocks Ice Rink mascot, Bear. I hope you had the chance to see them waving to the children in the community atop of the Town fire truck.

There was good news today with a possible flattening out of the curve of cases for the Coronoavirus. But, we are still in the thick of it and need to keep up the good work to flatten out the curve. Please continue to avoid gatherings, stay home and when out keep a social distance of at least six feet. This will help all of us get through this sooner.

For those of you who celebrate Passover or Easter, I hope you have a wonderful  holiday.

Thank you.
