Town of Mamaroneck Coronavirus Update for May 22, 2020
Good evening fellow residents, this is Nancy Seligson, Mamaroneck Town Supervisor with an update for May 22nd. The Town has received additional masks from Westchester County and will make them available to residents beginning Tuesday, May 26th at the reception entrance of the Town Center. They will be distributed on a first come-first served basis as long as supplies last.
There will be no garbage pickup on Monday, May 25th due to the holiday.
Summer hours for the Town Center offices will begin next week. The offices will open at 8:30 am and close at 4:00 pm. All meetings in the Town Center are still by appointment only.
I hope everyone has a nice Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to pay tribute to our fallen heroes in our usual manner. There will be no parades or large gatherings of people this year. Please take a moment to remember those who fought for our country and to appreciate our veterans who continue to provide service to our community.
Remember you must wear a mask in public if you are near people in order to protect our fellow citizens. The number of cases in the community and Westchester County are improving. We are hopeful we will be able to move forward with re-opening soon. Stay safe and healthy.
