UPDATE - Tuesday, July 28: The Town has been working closely with the Westchester County Department of Health to assess re-opening the Hommocks Pool Facility. We meet all requirements and the Hommocks Pool Facility will re-open on Wednesday, July 29th with limited hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm. Please check back Monday, August 3rd for any possible change in hours. All sanitizing guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Westchester County Department of Health are followed on a routine basis. Posted - Friday, July 24: The Town was notified Thursday, July 23rd, that an employee who works at the Hommocks Pool tested positive for COVID-19. The employee worked on Thursday, July 16, Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19.
The Town immediately took action and contacted the Westchester County Department of Health. The decision was made to close the pool complex effective Friday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 28. During this time, we will follow the sanitizing guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Westchester County Department of Health.
The Town is working in partnership with the Westchester County Department of Health to begin the necessary steps for contact tracing.
