[ARCHIVED] TOWN-WIDE PAVING

The Town of Mamaroneck is scheduled to perform resurfacing work beginning the week of October 24th, weather permitting. Pavement preparation work will take place in select areas ahead of the paving crew. The Town anticipates one day of preparation work and one day of paving for a given area. These dates and work hours will be posted on temporary “No Parking” signs installed along the road and adjacent side roads. If it rains on any of the scheduled days, work will take place on the following dry day. Please pay particular notice to these signs as the regulation will be enforced by the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department, if necessary.
During the course of work, there will be periods of time in which the roads will be closed and other times when traffic along the roads will be limited, including travel into and out of driveways. Town Highway Department personnel will be onsite during the paving process to direct parking and provide traffic control.
Repaving roads is disruptive, but necessary and we regret any inconvenience this work may cause you. If you have any questions about the work scheduled, feel free to contact the Town Engineer or Highway Superintendent at (914) 381-7825. Town office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
