[ARCHIVED] Town Board Meeting - Zoom Format Change

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the Town Board has been conducting their work sessions and regular Town Board meetings via Zoom. The Town Board typically meets on the first and third Wednesday evenings of the month. The meeting starts with a work session followed by a regular Town Board meeting at which time the “Affairs of the Town” are conducted.

Work Session Information

Work Sessions of the Town Board are public meetings. The public is able to view the work sessions on local municipal access television channels (Cablevision 76 or Verizon 35) or on, however, there is no public commentary. Opportunity for public comments is provided during the regular Town Board meetings when citizen comments are requested or when public hearings are held. If you would like to provide a comment regarding items discussed during a work session, residents may submit, via email, to You may also raise the question during the public comment portion of the regular Town Board Meeting. Please note that items discussed during the work session may, or may not be part of the regular Town Board meeting.

Regular Town Board Business Meeting Information

The next Town Board meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, September 9th. At this meeting, there will be a change to the Zoom format. The Town Board meeting will still be viewable on local municipal access television channels (Cablevision 76 or Verizon 35) or on, however, the public will now have the option to participate in the webinar Zoom meeting. During a public hearing or the citizens’ comment section, residents may “raise their hand” in Zoom to be granted access to speak directly to the Town Board.
