[ARCHIVED] Paving Work on Boulder Brae Lane and Dudley Lane

Pavement Roller Picture

Please be advised that Contractor crews working for the Westchester Joint Water Works (WJWW) in conjunction with recently completed water main replacement have scheduled pavement resurfacing work to commence on Boulder Brae Lane and Dudley Lane. Preparatory work including milling of existing asphalt surface and adjustment of drain and sewer castings will be undertaken on the noticed roads starting Monday March 29th.  Asphalt paving is scheduled to commence on Monday and be completed by end of day Tuesday March 30th.  All work will occur during normal daytime working hours.

It should be noted that all schedules are subject to acceptable weather conditions. The Town will continue to closely monitor weather forecasts to confirm conditions are acceptable for asphalt paving to proceed.

No on-street vehicle parking will be permitted on the noticed roads during daytime working hours. Maintenance of clear access to the roadways will help ensure successful completion of Contractor work in a safe and efficient manner.  Roadway access to resident driveways may be limited for several hours during and immediately following asphalt placement.

We appreciate your cooperation during this time and regret any inconvenience this work may cause you.  If you have any questions about the work, feel free to contact the Highway Department at 381-7825 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by email at:
