We have been closely monitoring Hurricane Henri, which is expected to make landfall in the late morning on Sunday, August 22 in Eastern Long Island, New York. Heavy rain is expected. Damaging winds and storm surge are possible. We urge residents to secure all outside furniture. If you experience a power outage, please call ConEdison directly at 1-800-75-CONED (1-800-752-6633).
Town departments have taken precautionary measures and are prepared to respond to the storm. Please avoid any unnecessary travel on local streets to allow Town departments better access for response.
