1. How do I know the paramedics are well-trained?

The Ambulance District is committed to providing high-quality lifesaving services by maintaining a skilled and knowledgeable workforce. In addition to mandatory monthly training events, all paramedics and emergency medical must be recertified every 3 years.

2. How do I donate to the Ambulance District?

3. How do I forward payment from my insurance?

If your insurance carrier reimburses you directly, you can endorse the payment and send it to the Ambulance District's Billing Service. Alternatively, you may send a personal check with a copy of the Explanation of Benefits.

5. How do I respond to a "Balance Due" or "Your Claim Is Stuck" notice?

A "Balance Due" or "Your Claim Is Stuck" notice indicates that your bill, or a portion of your bill, has not yet been paid. To provide secondary insurance information, please contact the Ambulance District’s Billing Services at 914-798-9793. If your insurance carrier provided partial reimbursement, the Ambulance District may be able to provide special considerations for financial hardship.
